Diosfer Poy Cochrane, widely known as Dio, is the co-founder of Pathway Dominicana and the One Church Movement in the Dominican Republic. Born in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, and raised and educated in Antigua and Barbuda, Dio is the youngest of his siblings.

Dio has been serving in missions since his early teenage years. Throughout his journey, he has partnered with numerous mission organizations to serve the people of the Dominican Republic. In 2016, Dio, alongside Kevin Hughes, envisioned a new approach to deepening their investment in the Dominican community. This vision culminated in 2017 with the co-founding of Pathway Dominicana.

Dio’s vision extended beyond just serving his hometown of Batey Alemán. He pushed to expand the outreach to neighboring communities, ultimately reaching eight villages and connecting with multiple pastors, leaders, and congregations. The year 2023 marked significant advancements and challenges for Dio and Pathway Dominicana. It was the year he hosted the largest pastor and leadership retreat, with over 60 leaders collaborating. He also

inaugurated the first phase of the community center in Batey Alemán and passed the baton as Field Director for the Dominican Republic to his niece, Felicia Feb German, as he focused on expanding Pathway’s vision internationally.

In 2024, Dio also partnered with Orchard Hills Church in Roanoke, Virginia, with the goal of bringing the vision God gave him in the Dominican Republic to the Hispanic population in the United States. Dio continues to lead Pathway Dominicana as Executive Director, while also helping to lead the Hispanic ministry at Orchard Hills Church. He is currently training with the Anglican Associates' AAI Church Planting Cohort #6 in 2024.

When asked about his passion, Dio eagerly shares his joy in initiating new works and reaching out to different cultures to expand the Kingdom of God.
